Kay Purnell, Chair of OETT (Orthotic Education and Training Trust) was very pleased to present the Orthotic Student of the Year Award at Strathclyde last week and to a very worthy recipient who had just graduated with a first class degree and excelled in all three years exams.
These are the words of thanks from Cara Muir:
“I am delighted to receive this award from the Orthotic Education and Training Trust. I have dedicated much time and effort towards my studies and this being recognised by the OETT is truly an honour.
I have been fortunate to have very supportive and knowledgeable supervisors throughout both of my placements who deserve acknowledgement. Receiving this award further motivates me to continue to develop as a clinician, aiming for the best possible outcomes for patients and to be in a position to help future students excel, as my supervisors have done for me”.
