Sue Irving
BAPO Chief Executive Officer
Sue has held senior leadership roles in the not-for-profit sector for many years, most recently working in housing and before that she was CEO of Dumfries & Galloway Citizens Advice Service. She has an MBA from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and she has a keen interest in ensuring equal access to services for people with vulnerabilities and complex needs. Sue also has Board level experience and is currently Vice Chair of the Board of Dumfries & Galloway College and previously chaired a national homelessness charity. Sue’s priorities in her interim role at BAPO are to deliver the recommendations of the form and function review to ensure BAPO is in a strong position to deliver excellence for its members.

Christabelle Asoluka

Christabelle obtained her prosthetic and orthotic training in Nigeria and currently holds a Master’s degree in orthopaedic and rehabilitation technology from the University of Dundee.
She has a strong interest in advocacy for rehabilitation policy and its services.
Tab Heeley
BAPO Clinical Standards Officer
Tabby graduated from the University of Salford in 2017, and began her career working as a prosthetist across the West Midlands and North Wales. Since March 2024, Tabby has taken up the role of Clinical Skills Tutor at the University of Salford, and has also taken on the Clinical Standards Officer role within BAPO. She continues to enjoy practising prosthetics one day a week, at the Wrexham Artificial Limb and Appliance Centre
Tabby is openly autistic, and has a special interest in neurodiversity; through her work with the University and with BAPO, she hopes to challenge perceptions of autistic people both within our profession, and in the wider world.
